Univariant engages applicants through community-oriented admitted student websites in Slate, and offers portal services for enrolled students, faculty, and staff using technologies from Framework and Maestro. Univariant services include single sign-on (integrating with CAS, LDAP, and other SSO providers), identity-aware applications using a rapid application development API, groupware calendaring and resource scheduling, web-based group and content management, and a rich suite of consumer-friendly applications comparable to those found on commercial portals including Yahoo, Google, and MSN.
